My line of the Price family has been fortunate to have acquired numerous family documents, items and photographs that have been kept and preserved. The majority of those documents have ended up with me in the Denver, Colorado area. I believe that many of the these items may be of significant interest to family members and so I have decided to photograph and scan all that I have in my possession to share with anyone who has interest. I have created a website to which I will post this information. I will do this over a period of time. You may find these documents at www.george-price.info.
Some of the items include what has been always known as the "Price Chest." The chest appears to have been constructed in Germany and brought by the family to the United States. It is the one discussed in family literature as having been brought from Maryland to New York. I am in possession of the Price family Bible brought from Germany and a Pennsylvania Dutch fraktur commemorating the baptism of Johan Georg Preis in 1785. Photos of these items will be uploaded in the very near future.
